Safe Haven knows the value of connecting with the community and building larger support systems for survivors. Domestic Violence is a societal issue that must be addressed as a community.

When it comes to domestic violence, knowledge is power.

We provide comprehensive community education on domestic violence at no charge to everyone including:

• Community groups • Civic organizations
• K-12 students • College students • Professional groups
• Healthcare providers

Educational presentations are tailored to the needs and interests of the audience. Examples include:

• Domestic Violence 101 • Teen Dating Violence
• Safe Haven’s programs and services • In Her Shoes®
• How to recognize & respond to abusive relationships
• Medical response to domestic violence
• Violence in the workplace • Healthy relationships
