Shelter Advocates provide advocacy, crisis intervention, emotional support, information, and referrals for survivors both in the shelter and in the community. They help maintain a safe and supportive residential environment, attend to the needs of clients, and perform additional duties that contribute to the overall operation of Safe Haven’s Shelter Programs.
Pay: $21.16 per hour (additional $1.20/hr for hours worked between 11:00pm - 7:00am)

The Education & Engagement Coordinator supports Safe Haven's mission through community education, outreach, training, volunteer engagement, public awareness initiatives, and partnership-building activities. This position coordinates educational programming, awareness campaigns, volunteer services, and community engagement efforts designed to increase understanding of domestic violence, promote healthy relationships, connect individuals with available resources, and strengthen community support for survivors. The Coordinator serves as a visible representative of Safe Haven throughout the community and works collaboratively with staff, volunteers, interns, and community partners to increase awareness of domestic violence and enhance access to services.

Pay: $24/hour
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Schedule will include regular weekly office hours with flexibility to allow for non-traditional work hours and some holidays to accommodate events.
